Organic fantastical futurism transcends our ideas of fashion as we shift our understanding of clothing and it's materiality, structure and expressive cues. We see through ORIENS and the experimental approach to garments that the female form is protected, respected and given ways to evolve, to dictate its embellishments – to give way to unique purposes within differing environmental contexts.

With roots in Canada's West Coast cultural capital of Vancouver, Shirley Tang has recently returned to rediscover the organic nature of what first led to early design inspiration for the brand's approach to design. It is through this fashion editorial story in collaboration with multidisciplinary creative Jack Pekarsky that Tang brings Oriens back to its birthplace to reinterpret the idea of how the natural world and forms influence a feeling beyond fashion.
