This editorial is inspired by the myth of ORPHEUS who was born of light and into light, a master in music and poetry, he was given a lyre by Apollo, the God of music and played it even better than Hermes. Orpheus was capable of calming the wildest animals with the charisma of spinning into dance inanimate objects. But aren't wild animals also our instincts and our confused minds and hearts?

Light is always seen as internal light as well and ORPHEUS was associated to ORFIKA, a series of poems accompanying rituals for mystical ceremonies. This mythical God was also a guide and protector in a nautical venture with the Argonauts, together with the twins DIOSKOUROI representing wisdom, brotherly love and beauty, symbolized by the sign of Virgo. Together, they went on a quest for the Golden Fleece, a precious gift, a golden-wool, winged ram, a symbol of authority and kingship. The story of ORPHEUS is the story of humanity, a universal image of light and enchantment by the beauty of life. He symbolizes exaltation, elevation and higher grounds of being and also the potential of excellency by disciplining your wild aspects.
