Artist Statement from Kels

R&B was my first love. Being a 90s baby, I’ve always had a deep appreciation for the talent and musical vibe that artists brought to each song. In this “fuck bitches” era, love, romance, and the art of serenading has been forgotten. So, with this mix, I wanted the listeners to feel that energy through the ad libs and vocal runs that old school R&B blesses us with.
