Acemo
(NYC, USA)

"This track was made during a time of unrest, as always an exploration of rhythms of futures past.. using sound from different times to fuse together and make something new and telling of the times.."

CHIPPY NONSTOP
(TORONTO, CANADA)

“This song is about how we inherited the fucked up world we were born into and it’s a spiralling mess but let’s get lost in this dance floor we create for ourselves.”

PRIMEDIESEL
(TORONTO, CANADA)

“While preceded by the build up of unsettling chords and chanting, I knew that the foundation of the track needed to be unapologetically loud and driven by the drums to mirror the aggression that we're feeling right now and that we've been feeling for a very long time. From confusion to chaos it results in something haunting and triumphant. Despite being stuck in quarantine right now, this one is specifically designated to tear up the club monitors once they let us back in.”

OURI
(MONTREAL, CANADA)

“I love your gay sound, I want your gay sound, I need your gay sound; this is an ode to all the gay communities holding the roots of electronic music.”

JACQUES GREENE
(MONTREAL, CANADA)

“Made this late last year when I was on a stint of not having been to a great night out in a bit. The title is a reference to Bambi's on Dundas. The music I make isn't always expressly FOR the dance floor, however this one was made picturing being a few hours into a really sweaty moment of togetherness down in that basement. At this point in 2020 those experiences feel like a half-remembered fever dream. I guess it's handy to keep some tracks around that might be able to trigger those memories.”

WASTED FATES
(Mexico City, Mexico)

“My Song is a dystopian dub.”

ORLANDO FITZGERALD
(NYC, USA)

“It’s impossible to participate in dance music without feeling inspired by the huge lineage of black musicians who have built this genre. And only a micro level this song is inspired by that point early morning in the club when the music hits right and you get lifted.”

CITIZEN BOY
(Durban, SOUTH AFRICA)

“My Inspiration is the love I have for music production, you gotta love what you are doing and try everyday to be better, better than who you were yesterday! It’s a competition against nobody else but yourself.”

YAZZUS
(London, UK)

“SAFFIRE – a 160 wonderland of drizzling mystical arps and a heavy 808 drum pattern keeping you in. Enjoy the trip!”

Jaeho Hwang
(London, UK)

“Reconstruction and reinterpretation of Korean instruments, mainly Jing in this composition. The Jing is a large gong used in traditional Korean music, particularly in samul nori, pungmul, and daechwita to keep beat.”

Raven
(Barcelona, Spain)

“Secretly I’m dodging feelings that’s too real. Afraid of situations out of my control. Can you relate?”

Akito
(London, UK)

“This track is inspired by fleeting moments of euphoria, dropping a couple of pingers with your pals, and reaching pure elation.”

Chekov & Skins
(Leeds, UK)

“Mid-tempo dance music for empty clubs and crowded minds”

168 & Bekatrina
(Ulan Bator, Mongolia)

“MOTR GANG GANG GANG GANG”

Yu Su
(Kaifeng, China)

“I was inspired by the klipsch speakers in my studio during the time of writing this track”

Chawood
(Seoul, Korea)

“Braking, Turn-in then Apex 🏍”

Pei
(Beijing, China)

“The inspiration comes from the fond memories from my childhood, watching Chinese Kung fu TV shows with my grandparents. The wind rusttling through my grandparents curtains as if to match the sounds of the nostalgic TV shows.”

Foodman
(Nagoya, Japan)

“This song was created with a lot of mental focus. I let my mind go to nothing.”

Core Self
(Sydney, Australia)

“Cathedral is a pulsating meditation that escorts you through a rhythm soundscape in which a place of salvation is the driving force.”

Cassius Select
(Sydney, Australia)

“The track is inspired by Gqom rhythms but pulls vocal samples from the UK continuum.”
